Accessed 14.08.2025. https://www.ntnu.edu/norcics. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCentre for Research-based Innovation (SFI)\n\n\n\nNORCICS’s vision is to contribute to making Norway the most securely digitalized country in the world\, by improving the cyber security and resilience of its critical sectors\, through supporting research-based innovation. \n\n\n\nOur primary objective is to enhance the capability of private and public sector stakeholders to respond to the current and future cybersecurity risks by developing\, validating\, and operationalizing innovative socio-technical solutions. \n\n\n\nThe following secondary objectives will lead to the achievement of the primary objective above: \n\n\n\n\nTo generate new knowledge about interdependencies and dynamics in Critical Sectors; and how Cyber Physical Systems especially in Critical Sectors can be attacked;\n\n\n\nTo design\, develop\, and test innovative methods and tools for the detection\, prevention\, and mitigation of cyberattacks against industrial control systems in Critical Sectors\, and to validate these in industrially relevant environments;\n\n\n\nTo demonstrate and validate the efficiency and effectiveness of interlinked cybersecurity measures for control systems in Critical Sectors for selected industrially relevant environments;\n\n\n\nTo develop novel methods and tools for the improvement of cybersecurity training and awareness\, and means for validation of such methods;\n\n\n\nTo effectively transfer the knowledge created within NORCICS among its user partners\, sectoral and industrial clusters\, and relevant stakeholders in Norway.\n\n\n\n\nNORCICS has the following work packages (WP): \n\n\n\n\nResearch-based innovation roadmap\n\n\n\nFoundations\n\n\n\nTechnologies\, applications\, and services\n\n\n\nDemonstration environments\n\n\n\nDissemination and knowledge transfer\n\n\n\nProject management

Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them. \n\n\n\nFostering Personalized solutions for prevention of dementia and frailty\n\n\n\nCOMFORTAGE is a joint effort of medical experts\, social scientists and humanists\, technical experts\, Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) and Living Labs (LLs) to establish a pan European framework for Community-based\, Integrated and People-Centric prevention\, monitoring and progression managing solutions for dementia and frailty. \n\n\n\nCOMFORTage will developed 13 pilots at 8 EU members states.  The main objective is to supply relevant subjects data on Scientific Technology Options Assessment  (SToA) referred to dementia and frailty detection and intervention and deploy\, validate and evaluate the models and tools in real life new clinical scenarios (Beta Solution Treated and Overaged-BSToA). \n\n\n\nCOMFORTage Virtualized AI-Based Healthcare Platform (VHP)\n\n\n\nThe project will create a first of a kind Virtualized AI-Based Healthcare Platform (VHP) that will centralize access to project’s AI resources for risk factor analysis\, early diagnosis and personalized decision making for age-related mental and physical diseases and disorders. \n\n\n\nPartners\n\n\n\nCOMFORTage strives to establish a pan-European framework for community-based prevention and intervention strategies to facilitate effective lifestyle changes thought the synergies of our Consortium and other stakeholders.
